I am going to increase the BCP tournaments prizes and drop to 2 of them in Sept.
"And Shepherds we shall be. For thee, my Lord, for thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand. Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti."

Just changing the structure's first 4 levels to the 4 I mentioned instead of what it currently is would also make a big difference and would actually speed up the tournament slightly.
Both decreasing the amount the blinds jump and increasing the starting stacks will increase how long the tournament takes. Many good players will simply wait longer than they would now looking for a good spot to play. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but it will cause the tournaments to take longer. And the 25/50 to 50/100 jump is pretty standard in the tournaments I play, even live that's pretty typical for any tournament under a $100 buy-in.

I think the structures are fine how they are, for the Carbon games at least (only ones I play). I understand what jason is saying and in a way I agree with him, but in the end, they are freerolls. Not meant to be deepstacked or run 3+ hours. I say leave them as is mainly because I really like the times they are at now, being on the east coast and all.

300 chips, blinds go up every 18 seconds.

i wouldn't mind cing the carbon tourney run a once or twice a week with turbo blinds. So same mount chips but blinds would raise every 5 min instead of 8 min how it is now

I also understand that our tournaments need to be somewhat turbo in order to accomplish that goal. *That* I am totally understanding of. However, one thing that totally drives me up the wall is the actual jumps of the blinds. There should never be a blind jump from 25/50 to 50/100, ever, ever. And while this becoming more commonplace in micro like 30 cent tournaments, I wish PO tournaments would do away with this.

A structure of the 4 steps of 15/30, 20/40, 30/60, 50/100 would even be 20 times better and be a start in making the tournament run just as fast, while adjusting to make the blinds more within reason.

Juicy, Lock, BCP, and Bovada are all more like this, some with a 40/80 step in between the 30/60 and 50/100. I wish Carbon, where the most money, time, thought, and effort is put into, could follow suit.

This all said, others may not agree or care. I'm likely being very OCD about this, but I just feel like there is no reason why within 2 seconds, someone should be an average stack with 25 bbs and one second later be in push/fold mode.

Comments, criticism, calling me OCD, and whatever else are welcome.
I think that's an excellent suggestion. And instead of dropping games, or spreading them out, just change the 10 pm game.
