I read Doyle Brunson's books decades ago, the problem is that with the advent of online gaming it has changed the game. It has changed the game live as well as the way it is played online, you can still rely on some of the concepts from those books, but you have to adapt or you get left behind.

I read Doyle Brunson's books decades ago, the problem is that with the advent of online gaming it has changed the game. It has changed the game live as well as the way it is played online, you can still rely on some of the concepts from those books, but you have to adapt or you get left behind.

Doyle's Super System to me is still the bible of poker books. He did write one for the internet as part of his promoting Doyle's Room which is now America's CardRoom. That is probably the worst poker book I have seen.
