Question on poker etiquette (Leaving the table)

When is it ok to leave the table? I feel like I want to run with what I have after hitting big, but at the same time, I know that's been called rude before. Though I feel if I do hit big and don't walk away then when I have the chance, I'll lose out and eventually bust out.

What's yalls opinion on this?

i usually stay for a while unless i was planning on logging off before winning but you could just fold around another orbit then click sit out next BB and look all casual lol.

You're right, it is bad manners you could say. I would agree with matg, just play tight, fold an orbit, then leave.
