Im very on the "fence" about this... I have a buddy who isnt bad at all live but i cash ALOT more then him yet online hes like 10x better at cashing. Not that his play is any better for sure. He just seems to be ALOT luckier then me online. Ive also noticed that winning players arent really good players as much as they are just lucky. Either to bad beat others or there hands hold up in key moments. Maybe im just lucky live that my hands seem to hold 10x more often then online as my play is no different live from online. Im pretty much tight/selective aggressive(almost all ABC poker), which seems to work live but not online. Then again live im playin $100 buyins vrs onlines $1 to $5 buyins. But before the first ban (long before stars, tilt and AP) i had 14 mtt wins since NADA. Maybe it was cause i had defined my play as i do now and was a little looser i dunno. But i won pretty good money off party poker and pokeroom before they banned US players...

Yeah, if I see too much vulgar language coming from one player too frequently, I click on ignore player. If there is not such a key on that poker site, I make a player note on the player reminding me not to play in the room they are playing in, since they curse so much they slow down the play of the game.

I think just talking in general brings bad luck. I very often will sit at a ring game, start well, begin talking and lose from then on. Very common pattern.

not too sure about the language at the tables affecting cards dealt but i do notice a lot more times than others... when you fold a hand and go back to check what the hand was by placing mouse over your cards... i swear the cards hit on the board
