This is a situation where you have to know your opponent very well, and it depends on your position. If you have an early position raise with a caller and possibly a re raise in front of you, it might be a good idea to fold the small pair. However if you are facing an opponent who raises often and you pick up the pair in late position it might be a good idea to come over the top of them ( you have to know that they will fold to the re raise though) You could flat call, I usually dont like that option though in a multi way pot.

according to what i heard. there is a 11% of hitting a set on the flop ,,,,with me a 0%,,,,and if i fold them preflop there is a 100% another one of mine will come on the flop....

pocket pairs 2-J = slowplay in my oppinion ... if you raise, callers will be with overcards / pp ... so if you see A, K, Q on flop you won't know what to do ... so just invest little in the pot and hope for a "low cards flop" or hit a set ... GL !
