So we Started off with 25 people and 8k in chips 100/200 blinds. Went pretty smooth. Hit a couple Draws to gain some chips early. Then my tight aggressive play paved way for some pot steals to build my chip lead with about 14 players left, until I made a bad play with 86off in the big blind I flop top pair with a open ended straight draw and called an all in bet knowing the vilian had same top pair with better kicker. I couldn't hit the gamble and lost half my stack but still had plenty chips to get back in the game. I know I should of folded but I didn't dwell on it to much and moved on with the game. Down to the final 10 I notice I have about an average stack and still in good position to win the tourney. I play patiently because the guy to my left is shoving all in and stealing pots like crazy. I finally get a AK off and make it 3x the BB and the guy to my left shoves. Everyone folds to me and I think for about 20 seconds and flip my cards over to show him AKoff. He couldn't believe I threw it away. He told me great fold and told me he had the two Black Kings. That saved my tourney life with 5 players left and with top 3 getting paid. A couple hands later I come up with Q3 off in the big blind. Its called around to me and I check. The flop comes all QUEENS. I hold my composure and check the flop. The short stack goes all in with about 8k left I call and another player to my left calls. I check the turn and the player to my left makes it 10k I call. FLop comes air and I decide to throw a little value bet out but player to my left folds. I show four of a kind to the short stack to send him home and to put me 2/4. We were all about the same in chips so someone metioned to chop 4 ways. So we all agreed and I took $156. It was only a $625 prize pool $312 for 1st $186 for 2nd and $125 for 3rd. All in All not a bad investment and I can't wait to find some more tourney's around here.

Very nice!! What casino were you playing at? And which casino in STL is doing the WSOP circuit now that Harrah's is called Hollywood? You may also want to check out the Heartland Poke Tour at River City whenever that goes through. RC is my favorite poker room in stl.
I'm gonna give that bitch a freeroll, bitches love freerolls.
