Opinion if USA approves online poker

I've often said that if we (the USA) were open to serveral different poker sites, there would be a battle between the sites for who could offer more and higher payout freerolls to get us to their poker room. What do ya'll think... I can dream can't I ..... LOL

I think they would try to make depositing and withdrawing the easiest possible and then offer really good rakeback before they worried about big free rolls, lmo

There might be some big "do nothing" freerolls initially, but nothing on a weekly basis. Getting entry into the biggest freerolls usually requires something from the user. Things like making a deposit or generating a lot of rake.

If there was alot of different sites the competition between them would not be for the freerollers who hope to build a roll from scratch. It will be for the high rollers from who they can earn more money from rake. As much as you want to dream about better freerolls and such i would assume their promotions would be rakeback and deposit bonuses.

I mean think about if for a second. Although im sure they will have freerolls to get the casual players and such. Their main aim will be the depositers and players with whom they can earn money off.

I have to agree with this statement. This would be one of the big issues that I would look into if the US started their own sites.

"try to make depositing and withdrawing the easiest possible"

This will not be an issue when online poker is "legal and regulated". Think of the way Vegas works. Buying chip is not easier or harder at the various casinos. The battle between the Vegas casinos is on how to get the people in their casinos.

they could help amatuer newbies get seats to little live events where it's looked at as sort of vacation package

when they do finally bring better sites to the USA, I really hope it is really easy to withdraw and deposit; take the taxes out each transaction and let us play!!!

Look I honestly believe these massive stealthy poker sites like Full Tilt we have been reliable were not regulated enough, for that matter, not at all, and if horse racing can be legalized and made legitimate, and online poker has a much larger market potential, then yes, but it will be good for all because these sites will be better watched
