I have mixed feelings, in a loose game i love the river because your drawing hands have higher value with the greater number of players seeing the flop, and a curse in a tight game because thats when your aces get cracked often. at least thats what it seems... nothing is worse then flopping your set of threes and some guy holds on to the end to catch his flush...then again nothings better then putting your opponent on a high pocket pair at a 1/2 casino game, thus getting the implied odds to hit your two pair or better draw and get paid off when you hit it

generally the best hand holds from turn to river....and it is frustrating when someone draws out on you, but thats the reality of the game. It happens to everyone. Thats why playing with an adequate bankroll is essential to winning cards, as i have learned....

Absolutely hate the river, no doubt about it. It's killed me way more times than it has helped me.
