Jason's BR Challenge

So, a few days ago I happily withdrew $1200 from my Aced account, that I slowly grinded up to. At which point, I decided to switch back to my Carbon account. I had about $38 sitting there from god knows when. Right now, it's closer to $50.

When I switched back over, the first thing I tried to do was sign up for a $5.50 MTT. I quickly realized, hey wait a minute, my br is no where near big enough for that anymore.

So like the good Jew I am, I decided to seize the moment and force myself into a VERY specific criteria of br requirements to try to make BANK.

My goal is to work my small br up to over $10,000, possibly more... yes I know. It's a very long term goal.

I will post in this thread regularly to share how it is going. My br requirements will be listed below this and I will make sure to always follow them, down to the penny and will hopefully be as specific as a tournament by tournament basis eventually as I add things in.

If I ever have a remarkably bad run of cards, I will likely stop the challenge temporarily and let PO rebuild me for a bit, so I'm not stuck on bumblebees or something. The only way I might go off this is by winning a coupon and using it. Suggestions are always welcome. Here's a look at what I have so far:

Bankroll minimums:
-$5: $0.11 HT SNGs
-$20: $1 double or nothing SNGs + MTTs up to $.60
-$30: $1 SNGs minus HT + Step n Go 1
-$50: $1 MTTs*
-$100: $2 SNGs + $1 MTTs for $11 coupons
-$150: $2 MTTs* + $1 MTTs w/ rebuy
-$250: $3 MTTs* + $1 HT SNGs
-$300: $5 SNGs + $2 MTTs w/ rebuy
-$400: $5 MTTs* +$2 HT SNGs + $3 MTTs w/ rebuy
-$600: $11 SNGs + $3 HT MTTs
-$800: $11 MTTs*
-$1300: $22 SNGs + $5 HT SNGs
-$2000:$22 MTTs* + $11 HT MTTs
-$2500: $11 HT SNGs + $33 SNGs
-$3000: $33 MTTs*
-$5000: $60 SNGs
-$7500: $60 MTTs*

*=without satellites, rebuy or HT

Goodluckk man. Having a good bankroll management system and following it without being stupid will bring you a far ways, remember that. The grind is a long and tedious process, but stick with it and you should succeed.

The beginning is always the slow part. I'm still around $48. It'll probably take a bit to push through this, but micro stakes MTTs usually have horrible structures as far as being profitable, so I'll probably stick to SNGs for a bit.
