im pretty sure its impossible to win on carbon poker
Specifically at the tables, the rake is just too much of a killer
in a pl omaha game i got raked 20 bucks in a buyin of 50 dollars after like an hour

thats just to much, so i think that the only way to possibly really continuassly make money is to play the tournaments
I think the rake is low enough to actually have a realistic edge

Do you not get rakeback or what tier are you? I just use my daily cash rebate and not use that and cash that out once a month. Ive grinded around 60k hands on carbon ring game since black friday and have generated $545 in rakeback just off of cash games.

Plus ived played 1.5k sngs and 450 mtt.

Also you can use your VIP points and cash in for cash which helps.. I think there rake system is pretty fair

The rake on the Merge network is rather low compared to many live games.

If you are playing heads up, or short handed the rake will effect you much worse then if it's a full table. If you're really worried about rake then I would highly recommend just playing tournaments. The rake cost can be covered easily with a good placement in the tournament. However, you also have to weigh the risk of having your money tied up in a game where you may get no return. At least in a cash if you're running bad you can stand up and move to a new table.

Might want to stay away from the Cake network ... the rake is much worse there.
