    wow those odds things have always blowed my mind .i just look at the cards and play he betting big i try to figure whathe has then what i have and go from there wow also so say how you figure who has folded what????

    Tournament play is different. You're playing to either make it deep or win. That changes a lot. In cash games, your goals are obviously different, but for example, short stacked in a tournament, calling 2/3 of your stack because you have the pot odds would make sense if you only actually have a 1/3 chance at winning the pot, despite the 4:1 or whatever you may be getting.

    Yeah, all great points. When it comes to tourney everything is a factor; Card Odds (above all), Timing (above card odds), position, range.
