do not need a big raise, if set on the flop you get a monster and will be able to win a good pot!

Play aggressive if you have low chips, and try to limp if you are high on chips.

I prefer to limp and see if I hit a set postflop. I would call up to 3bb preflop if my stack permits. However, if im in late position (bb/sb) and it checks around then perhaps i'd throw a little raise out obviously.

The answer is subjective. And even the right answer can end up going wrong (and the wrong right [though less often])
