I've been playing these PLO MTT's at Hero for about a month now. Many times these tournaments take less time than a SNG. As far as some folks taking the tournament too seriously, that will happen everywhere whether a freeroll or a high stakes game. I've won a few and placed a few times, as well. One reason I joined these, it was easier money than those holdem 'funstep' games, in merge and I will NOT put my own money into the site till I have to. And at the same time, I'm learning how to play the game.

Are these freerolls open to US players? Are there any other freerolls besides SnG's?

I just tried out hero poker, but most of the freerolls said "restricted".
