Session number 10 is over and it was a mixed bag. I was up initially but then it fell apart. I played really well but I missed a lot of draws and didn't win a pot for almost two hours. I wound up losing $256. What really sucks is that this was my first losing streak of the year. Every time I have lost I have followed it up with a win. But that's poker sometimes. There is a lot of variance to this game. Sometimes you can go weeks without losing, then you go weeks without winning. I'm always reminded of Vince Lombardi when things go bad. I love his quotes and I find them to be a great a motivational tool. The one that sticks with me the most is, "it's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get back up." The last two sessions have not been good but that doesn't mean this is the beginning of the end. It's a small roadbump and I fully expect to turn it around; if not today then in the future. A positive outlook can be almost as important as running well. So with that said, I wish you all the best and positivity and luck and see you on the felt.
