Session number 9 is in the books and it was bad. Although I played better than the previous session, it was a losing one. I lost $400 on the session. It shouldn't have been that bad for several reasons. First, I couldn't connect with a flop to save my life. When I did connect, it was second best. Those two were out of my control. However, I broke two of my cash game rules. I played for longer than 6 hours and after 3 losing half hours/dealer changes, I did not walk away. I got what was coming to me. Had I left after the three losing half hours, I would have lost a little less than $200. Still a loss but every dollar counts. If I come up $200 short of my profit goal, it will be because of this lack of discipline. Moreover, oe is a game of discipline. The most in control player is usually the winner. This is something I must really work hard on. Hopefully, I can get my act together and start moving in the right direction again. Until then, good luck and see you on the felt.
