Had a bad live session the other night. Lost $242 playing in the 10-20 oe game. I played super tight. Won $200 something on my first hand and then it was downhill from there. The table dynamic was interesting though. The game is attracting some good players and not too many poor players. I don't know if it makes sense for me to sit in the game anymore. Last year the players were so bad. This year, I guess the good players took notice and have flooded the game. I will make a few more appearances but if it keeps going bad I might have to stop going and focus on more profitable games.
As for online, I am now at $24.63. The cash games online are pretty easy especially at the levels I am at right now. I am going to keep grinding the cash games and try to throw in some sit n gos and tourneys. There is not a ton of traffic on the sites I play so I wonder if the sit n gos would be worth it. I like to play a high volume when I play so I am not sure if I will give it a try at the level I am currently at. I will keep you posted with what i do. In any regard, good luck to all of you out there and see you on the felt.
Good luck, last night I went to the casino and won $315 in a $40 tourney. Thinking about using it for one bullet in the Queen City Classic at the Horseshoe Casino in Cincinnati, OH $500,000 Guaranteed Deep Stack Tourney. Anyone in the area interested in going, hit me up. Considering selling some action.

    Brick brick brick lol

That is how I would describe my last session. I played very solid and tight. Unfortunately, the board did not cooperate lol. I wound up losing another $270. This has been a bad last two months. January was really great and I am confident that I can get things going again. If this poor luck continues, I will have to reevaluate and maybe consider switching games. I might have to stop playing the 10-20 Omaha hi lo game and switch to 1-2 no limit Holdem but keep playing the 6-12 oe game. I am not sweating yet but I am disappointed. I know I am capable of better results. I know I can make some money at these games. I will just have to work a little harder in my preparation and my execution. Like they say, it's always darkest before the dawn. Good luck to all you guys and see you on the felt.

A small win is a good win.

Finished a 10-20 Omaha hi lo session the other night up $90. It's a small win but a win is a win. Especially when I have been running as poorly as I have been. This month has been a month of big losses and small wins. I am trying my best to flip that. I will be playing at least 3 and maybe 4 more sessions this month. I will most likely fall short of my goals so it is important to get some wins so I can mitigate my losses this month. I feel like I'm laying so much better since my disastrous $1,000 loss night but I haven't reaped the rewards yet. But you know life is one big session. You're going to have your ups and downs but it is how you handle them that matters. I think I have done a good job keeping my head up this month. You can't let the bad stuff bring you down in cards or in life. You have to keep chugging along and that what I am going to do. Good luck to all of you and see you on the felt.

I think the best goals are to make ones that involve the amount of work you are going to put in. and the monetary ones should follow after. Its like doing something you have a great passion for and the money will find you instead of doing something for the money

    Nice chunk

I played my 6-12 oe game yesterday and won $353. Everything went my way. I played great, got lucky, and booked a nice win. I think a big part of my success was that a friend of mine was playing in the game and I respect his game a lot. He use to do videos for cardrunners and play really high stakes. I felt like I had to play perfect to impress him and think by the end of the day he was. It feels good to get a nice sized win. I probably have two sessions left in the month. I hope they are equally as profitable if not more. I hope this will start as some much needed momentum heading into April. I want to start building the roll in the hopes of making it back to Vegas in June. My first target though is the wsop circuit event. Hopefully a good showing there and I will feel super confident for June. In any regard, good luck to everyone and see you on the felt.

My live roll was left over from the last two years of half assing live poker. Since Black Friday my online roll has been 0. I decided to try and challenge myself to build it up from 0. Because online is still in a murky situation in Pennsylvania, I decided not to deposit any money, but build it up from 0.

I agree. That's why I have both monetary goals and volume goals. The volume ones are the ones I care most about. The monetary ones are just an added bonus.
