Officially broke the online ice. I played a couple of free rolls last night and was able to win one and final table another. It would have been even better but I bubbled another one as well (11th but paying top 10). I ran 77 into Kk on the bubble against a bigger stack but I think I made a pretty big mistake a few hands earlier. I was in late position with j9 suited. I had about 20 big blinds and was stealing some pots here and there. My plan was to raise fold to the big stacks and call the shortest stack. Well it folded to the big blind who was a middle stack with 8 big blinds and he shoved. In a normal tournament, I would have snapped him off just because of the pot odds. But I did not pull the trigger. I reasoned that since there was a short stack who was close to busting out that he would not shove with anything less than a premium hand. Even so, my hand probably played well against his range given the price I was being laid. Regardless, my online bankroll has grown. I will continue to play some free rolls until my roll gets to about $10 on a given site. Right now, I have $3.75 on black chip poker and $1.20 on bovado. Hopefully I can grow it over the course of the next few days and turn it into something I can work with. Well, until next time, good luck and see you on the felt.
Live bankroll: $4,307
Online bankroll: $4.95

I wish you the best of luck jdawg! I actually have just started to take online serious again after basically a three year departure.
I think a break in any genre is a good idea! Looks like it is paying off already....
