It's a mix of both. You use your skill to determine situations that are favorable to you, and use that to your advantage. Yeah, you do have to get lucky sometimes, but you put yourself in situations that give you a better chance at winning, and that is where the skill becomes a factor.

I think a lot of people dont credited poker being enough skill, they think right of way, well poker is just luck. Well I disagree I do not think it is all about luck. 90% skill 10% luck.

I think it's about 25% luck in getting the cards and 75% skill in how you play them.
