Right now the general business outline and marketing techniques of most pay sites ie. pureplay and clubwpt represents a bad forum with it's own poker client.. At best they take in a million plus in monthly revenue and only offer back $100,000 to their payed members via gear, gadgets, live game entries and cash. This is a tremendous flaw which I'm quite sure most are as tired of as myself. I'm petitioning a change. You see I have a new business model and either through allied support or on my own search for financiers I strongly believe that that the poker community can and will do more for it's members. Here's what I propose.
~ A sliding membership scale. ie a tier system in which basic members play free and can satellite their way into Tier one tournaments. Tier one would have access to their share of cash and prize tier one tournaments for a $19.99 a month subscription but most importantly it doesn't stop there. You see the tier one payed members would be able to satellite their way into tier two tournaments and compete with others who pay a membership of $49.99. Of course the tier two members would be able to play within their own class but also satellite into tier three tournaments and membership for another set price say $99.99. In this fashion you could continue as high as you want, legally avoiding government prosecution and avoiding the drama that comes with deposit sites.
~A ring game point system that is as same as cash based on the points that you incur by continuing your monthly membership each month and earning via tournaments..
~Only one cashout a month just like a government check all that needs to be done is verification.
~And most importantly NO MORE 90% rake like the big two get away with regularly. The site I'm potentially offering would give 95% of it's members dues back into tournaments.
~Server location... Not in Costa Rica Not foreign but right here on our own soil, perhaps held on a public domain server where people could regularly check hand statistics and the RNG accuracy. Priority Numero Uno unhackable..
I have little doubt that the above mentioned plan is the future of us online gaming and someone with a like mind needs to get on board and help me recruit investors. I have some funds to work with but far from what it's going to cost.. Let's revolutionize the industry once again.. Who's with me?

To be honest, I would not have much faith in this type of system. It's kind of like buying a membership to Sam's Club, it's just a hell of a lot simpler to shop at Wall Mart.

Maybe it needs work but this method approaches bankrolls of all sizes, I mean the sky's the limit you could have people paying $10,000 a month membership and only playing with people who pay the same .. which means 95% of that prize pool would be up for grabs in tournaments and a points same as cash RNG system. few have seen the potential yet as i expected but thankfully I have a few investors on the line. whether it gets worked on and the kinks ironed out or this business plan goes forward untouched this will soon be a reality. I'm about three thousand in and I'm going to be investing another 20 or 30k before it's where it needs to be, but the point of this whole thing, is to attract REAL poker players, not one time hit and run depositors that drop $20 once a year (although the tier system gets their money too). The client I'm proposing will be 100% skill based with leader boards and prizes for the best. In general the top 10% of subscribers are going to make a fortune with almost no rake to speak of and no noticeable rake for sure.. I think if some of you guys read up on whats going on in the USA and the success of similar sites that offer less then 25% back to the prize pool you will realize how lucrative this project could potentially be.. and perhaps most importantly you will decide like me to take a stand against the corporate giants who make millions without offering the players back their fair shares. Til then i digress.

just a smalltime online player for now. We'll see what happens but for real cash games I'll go to the local casino and play at home for fun and small change.
