Like most PO members, sometimes i will try a download for pts.Alot of the time the download will ask to install a toolbar.I have found that most are safe and can be uninstalled easily (click tools,go to add ons, disable or remove). When i fired up my laptop yesterday and opened Firefox to my surprise there is a new toolbar that i never allowed. The name of it is Open Social Eyes and when i went to tools then add ons ,NONE of my toolbars showed up.WTF,then i went to CC Cleaner (download this,it's free and a great tool) It didn't show up in any program.Eventually i found the website and found a link to uninstall it,no go,still there and slowing my comp. down. Its a corrupt file and somehow slipped by my antivirus (NORTON).The only way to get rid of it is to click on help and restart Firefox (if your not using Firefox you should) with add ons disabled. What a pain in the ass and i am still worried about this lurking in the backround somewhere. Also, for security and adware i use CC Cleaner,Malware,Anti Malware and Norton anti virus. The 1st 2 are free and i highly recommend them....
