If I have a strong hand, I bet in the hopes that the other guy will call. It's stupid to bluff the other guy off though. You don't win anything and the SS triples up.

Yea if you call preflop unless you flop the nuts and want more value it makes more sense to check it down.

Def not collusion and def the right play, but you know if we are 11 handed and 10 pay (or whatever similar scenario) and I have a medium stack and think I can abuse the bubble to grow my stack a ton, I may have interest in keeping the bubble alive if it wouldn't cost me much, but this is a different scenario altogether and not what happened.
