well i myself started in homegames knowing nothing. early fairly looseplay/later tight play works well without a magazine. however it verys with stack size. i learned to play at poker school online through stars. before them it was bugsys club.

you should read some tournament strategy books ...there are lots....see if you can find a copy of harrington on hold 'em

Even tho id recomend some books, it will only give you general ideas and you will have to put it to use in ur own way..

Getting in there and playing has been my personal favorite, but maybe a educational site would help, who knows
