I guess this was the poster's easiest 5 points. lol. I agree with the fact that live play makes it easier to read. Especially since I'm more of a "physical read" kind of person. But I love that online is faster, more hands, and can play more games. There are a lot of limitations to live play.

I've played thousands of games online. I've never once played a live game however.

Live is fun. I've only played cash once, and tournaments twice. Lost $50 in cash and $50 in my first tournament but won the second one I played for $400. Won that tourney thanks to the drunk guy on my right who I totally owned for most of his stack. I'm not that great, but it was fun to take advantage of the drunk...!

It is always good to be able to play whether online or live. Just keep on playing and dont stress over hands you lose just keep moving past it.GL

I do feel like online and live are two different games. I can't go back in forth between them very well, but if I play 3-6 months or more in just one venue, I adjust my game and style appropriately.

I have only played live twice. Once I played a $25 10 player sit n go, I got busted out in 4th. My Pocket Jacks got busted my a set of 8's. Then the second time I played in a case game $1/$2 at the Casino. Bought in for $100. When the button cam to me for the first time about 4 players limped in including the small blind. I had 74s (hearts) The flop came all hearts. I had flopped a flush. I came in for a raise for about half the pot. Everyone folded but the small blind which raised me and I called. Turn came there was a raise by SB and I called. On the river I got all my chips in and he showed a set. I won a $200 pot. I got lucky because I never would of played if someone would have raised preflop. I play a lot more online considering I don't have a casino near me.
