Forgot who made original post about badmouthin players or site(namely carbon) and the result being badbeats constantly,BUT I AM ABSOLUTELY CONVINCED IT IS TRUE!! Ive been cursing out Merge for the 1 and 2 outers Ive been beat on and also recommending that people dont deposit their hard earned money there while Ive been playing,and lord and behold,Ive had the absolute worst and most disgusting beats imaginable. I am absolutely convinced that they(the site)have the ability to tag an account they deem undesirable and make that account lose hands ,money,etc . My only adv ice to players is to turn your chat off and never use it. the instant you start cursing or say disparaging things about the site,you might as well find a new site to play on,cause you are now a marked account!! Bodog is where I will continue to deposit and play. Most realistic boards of any site and good hole cards generally hold up. Just like live play,without these constant bullshit flushbeats or 1 and 2 outer beats. Newly revamped rooms and software. Try it,you wont be sidappointed!

I don't buy it. I'm sure there are a lot of people who curse their asses off and win big. Also, bodog does look pretty, but it's client is way more unstable than Merge's and I hate how you have to open a pop up window to see tourney info.

Unstable. The RCG that merge uses is beyond unstable,but I guess thats ok for you. Also Merge also took away the window that showed your balance ,that used to be a quick refernce you could see while you were playing. They blatantly lied and said it was because of player feedback that they removed it. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? I know and they know it was removed because their marketing experts advised them to in order to increase potential profits. My issue is ,with these backdoor shenanagins,blatant lies,and outright thievery(namely the casino....try blackjack at 3 dollars a hand or more (and compare your win % and house 21 % to your 1 dollar wagers) and tell me thats on the up and up!! Its so blatatantly obvious I dont know how anyone can defend the site!! Amen to the DOJ I say....close that fucking site to US players and help them save their hard earned money!

I don't about that but i did say Carbon is terrible and it sucks. I haven't won anything in about 2 weeks. Thats why everything else takes so long cause they are monitoring chat instead of taking care of other business.

to rrickir.....fyi....chat has filters that send alerts to the site. They dont need to monitor. If your account sets off an alert then your account is reviewed....then the shit hits the fan. Same goes if you send them email with a curse word. Filters will automatically reject the email and send it back to you unread!

Or you could look at it in the way that if someone is badmouthing a site they obviously have just suffered a beat or have some other reason to be mad at the site and then when they suffer a a fairly standard beat such as AK vs AQ or something along those lines they now believe that the site must really be against them. Do people not realise the only money these poker sites make is off of the rake so they have absolutely no motive to make people not want to play. Why would they screw over a certain player and therefore make that potential customer unlikely to not play anymore. I guarantee if u sit at home with a deck of cards and deal out hands face up and then deal flop, turn and river you will see beats just as bad if not worse than the ones you are complaining about.

If you cant deal with the variance of poker then dont get it in until you have the unbeatable nuts.

idk about this whole bad mouthing conspiracy - but i will say that merge angers me with its drastic changes in upswings and downswings. For me atleast, i can do no wrong for a few days, winning almost every pot i am in, then for next couple days - boom - i lose every pot im in, rivers galore, coolers everywhere, etc. To me its too drastic to be "real poker" for me, but i also know that that is part of the online poker package... it gets annoying when your getting screwed for a few days but its cool when your winning. right now i happen to be getting fcked every hand i play... but i cant say that is from badmouthing merge.

I'm just aggervated and venting. I know that they don't make people lose on purpose, just becuase of whats said in chat. I am a computer programmer by profession. I also know exactly how these random card generators work. Not sure just how to program one but i know how they work. My luck has been so horrible lately is almost unreal. It will pick back up soon.

So its ok for you to hit your few outs but when someone ur playing his those same outs against you it just isnt real poker? Please. Now im not saying you in paticular but alot of people here dont even realise what a bad beat is. Constant post about AK losing to AQ or Ace rag, or higher pockets losing to smaller pockets. Those beats are so stand they happen so many times a day. Just look at most casino's and poker sites definition of a bad beat. Its close to being tilting how people think everytime they lost a hand when all in preflop if they are ahead even if just 60%vs40% that it is a bad beat
