to those who say the frequency of bad beats online is matched or even close to being matched live, i have to say i disagree greatly. i dont buy the "you play more hands online" as being a contributing factor to the frequency of bad beats. its just the way online is, it induces action... period

i will say the one thing that sends me over the edge, is when someone gets lucky as hell against me and then calls me out like i made a bad play or im a terrible player - that shit pisses me off like no other. but thats a different thread for a different day

I challenge you to a question. How often do you play a hand online that you wouldnt play in a live casino. Now take the number of hands you play in a casino vs the number of hands online. Online a raised pot preflop has at most 3 maybe 4 people see the flop. IN a live casino it is atleast 4 most likely more. Of course a flop is going to have cards that induce action. Just step back a second and think about it logically.

im not old enough to play in a casino, but i do play at charity events where you only have to be 18 and i know at even the lowest levels of sng's, ppl know what they are doing and in a raised pot you see 2-3 guys max on most occasions (there are, of course, a few exceptions). just look at the wsop... 75% of the pots were won prior to the flop. i also think that is why you run into badbeats in freerolls and low stakes tourneys/cash tables so much, you got dumb donkeys who play any 2 and end up rivering a miracle - but to me it jsut seems like it happens way too much, and it is too predictable. i know when im getting sucked out, b/c the suckouts come in bunches... cant say the same about live on a personal level... i have run bad but not where every pot i play no matter what cards i have i am getting rivered or coolered (for days on end)... i understand where you are coming from prawney, but i believe online is manipulated slightly

its also important to note that i am a little salty over losing a majority of my pts (500 left), mostly on miracle rivers and that my PO days are numbered b/c of it - plus im running terribly on merge right now, which this is helping me vent .. but i stick to what i say about online being manipulated to induce action.

Is this an actual and serious complaint? I mean out of all the players at carbon they actually have had the time to single you out for cursing.
Well tell ya what I'll do. I will write Santa Claus and let him know to pass on the word.
Then he'll tell the Easter Bunny, and him the Tooth Fairy and so on and so forth. And together we will put a stop to that mean old Carbon of getting in on this part of the action. That'll show em.
R U SERIOUS DUDE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
