Anyone on here play chess seriously/competitively? A lot of professional and competitive chess players play poker, but i dont know how much of it goes the other way around.

and yes i know this section is meant for video games but its still a game so i put it here

i used to play chess all the time, got into playing online for awhile. certainly no seriously/competively though. Lets see, last time i played was ...... oh yeah, right before i started playing poker online.

I never did get into chess, played checkers a lot when I was a kid.............

Last time I played chess, the pieces where shot glasses full of beer and every time you lost a piece you had to take that shot and the loser had to finish the board. I lost in 7 moves.

I played chess - Years ago - In chess you have to think always 3-4 even 5 ways further, what you will do if your opponent goes there or somewhere else, In poker it is same , always need to think what you will do , if he will bet or check....

yes im a good player chess ,,,,,,,,,,,,this was my soprt in the university ,,, i win many times in a competition ,,,,, i woul like to play with somebody here at pokerowned ,, ty bro ,,,,,,,,,,,

yeah i used to play chess also. poker isn't too far off in play like chess other than you can't see your opponents hole cards. lol
