Saw what he did and it was horrible. Should be at least a year suspension, if not a lifetime ban. You have no right to put your hands on an umpire.

I remember when he used to play for the giants. Never gave them trouble. He made a mistake, he'll pay the price for it , but dont give the guy a lifetime ban

Yorvit has been suspended 66 games by the Venezuelan League for the incident which covers the rest of this year and all of next season for that league. There has been no ruling by MLB whether he will be suspended for their upcoming season.
This was the right call made. A baseball player has no right to assault an umpire, especially during a meaningless winter league baseball game. No idea what he was thinking.

I agree his is a piece of crap, I hope he is suspended from the MLB as well.
