    I seriously doubt this was an isolated incident and not just by this coach.
    What I don't get is the bounty does not even cover the fine the player would receive for delivering the blow it would take to knock out the QB.

    bounties being going on since high school, sorry to say it but we had a bounty pool on who got free mickey d's or burgerking for knocking out our rival qb, we even had a pool on defense for 5 dollars a piece and if you knock the qb out you get the entire pot..not saying its right but it made the game interesting on defense to say the least
