boxing is dying out the only reason its still going is people want to see mayweather lose, once him and paquiao retire boxing will die off

Doubt it. But Mayweather is still the big draw for sure. And MMA is way too watered down imo, considering everyone everywhere is doing it.

UFC Light Heavyweight Phil Davis wasn't exactly thrilled to hear that Daniel Cormier will be getting a title shot.
"I mean listen, it can be any combination of title things that get you a title shot," Davis said. "Apparently fighting Roy Nelson and then fighting Pat Cummins gets you a title shot. Maybe beating no one in the top 10 like Glover did gets you a title shot. There's no rhyme or reason to getting a title shot. So, beating the number one contender does not get you a title shot. At this point, I don't really care, I think I'm in the best in the world so I'll just keep fighting whoever they put in the cage."

i was hoping pettis would fight aldo but oh well

so was I!!..man that would be a great fight...they would of fought at 155 and I guess that's more close to Aldo's natural weight so he wouldn't of had to cut so much which is why he's been getting tired out in his last couple fights .. but im a huge Pettis fan and I really think Pettis would get him..just so mant different attacks he comes with..you never know what he's going to come at you with

and imo I don't think boxing is dying out at all..if anything its starting to make a small come back..it looked to be dead a few years ago but im thinking because of mma its coming back...more ppl are interested in fighting all together so they will check out some boxing...I for one find myself watching it a little more then I have been in the past 7 to 10 years...there is a lot of tough up and coming boxers that we will be hearing big things from in the next few years and that is what will give boxing a much needed boost..how much of a boost im not sure but any is good
