It was a cold and wet September day back in 1998. Of course the weather didn't really matter much since I was at Pearson International airport standing at the boarding gate for my flight to New York. To say I was excited was an understatement. I had never been to New York, at least not alone and I wasn't alone this time either. It was just as the boarding agent asked to see my flight pass when IT HIT ME! Let me tell you... "never eat seafood at an airport lounge", I said to myself as I was seen running back to catch my flight after an emergency landing in the bathroom.
