    Funny Story, But so true. Triple Crown

    In 2003 I won tickets on the radio to a Florida Marlins game, They were playing the Devil Rays, I was no Marlin Fan

    But, free tix, I was going.

    After a couple innings they brought in this NEW KID, for his Major League Debut, his name Miguel Cabrera, in the 12th inning he hit walk off

    Home Run. And the Marlins went on to win World Series that year.

    Today he accomplished the TRIPLE CROWN.

    Here is the Best part of story, Radio staion gave me 4 tix,

    Only my wife and I went.

    I still have the tickets stubs we

    used, and the other 2 unused tickets.

    I'm glad I saved em.

    Cabrera made his major league debut on June 20, 2003, at 20 years old; Edgar Renter?a, at 19 years old, was the only Marlins player to make his debut at a younger age. Cabrera hit a walk-off home run in his first major league game, following Billy Parker in 1972 and Josh Bard in 2002 as the third player since 1900 to hit a game-winning home run in his big-league debut.
