Its a toss up, definitely a hard question to answer. Johnny Bench, Pete Rose, for that era. Barry Larkin and Eric Davis for that era and for basketball I have to say Reggie Miller, Chris Mullen during the dream team era George Hill, Danny Granger. Players I admire as athletes are Peyton Manning and Michael Jordan.

Favorite former fairly recent player would be safety Brian Dawkins of the Eagles(and Denver briefly). Currently NFL, Lesean McCoy RB for the Eagles he's got some sick jukes. Hell, his jukes have jukes...and NBA, Damion Lillard of the Blazers. That guys just gonna get better and better and has a lot of poise for being such a young player. Plus he's already CLUUUUTCH!!
And of course Michael Jordan.

Probably has to Kevin Durant hes gonna be great for a long time couple more scoring titles and probably like ten championships
