Worst movie ever made from a book, "Clan Of The Cave Bear" starring Darryl Hannah. Just awful. Since the people of the Clan use mostly sign language to communicate, there was no way it was gonna translate well. Just awful.

I pretty much dislike all movies equally. That's too long to sit in one place doing something other than playing poker. I can't be both mentally and physically idle at the same time without falling asleep. Plus todays movies are hyper-sexual or gratuitously violent to the point of inducing PTSD in people who are not desensitized to the hyperbolous nature of the Hollywood dynamics of human nature. I have no time or money to support films about heros with guns tracking down psychos with bombs, or comedies about people who sleep with everyone they come into contact with in an attempt to find themselves in a modern world of deviants and sociopaths. Michael Moore makes good films though.

To be specific. Life of Pi. Great cinematography, plot had holes big enough to fall through. What the fuck was the point of the girl? The love interest had no place in the story and the conclusion on the topic seems to have been left on the cutting room floor. Also the premise of the movie makes no sense from an intellectual perspective. How his story proves the existence of God is beyond me, perhaps the book is more comprehensive and concise, but as per usual they tried to condense 3-4 hours of plot into 2 hours and in the process neutered the entire concept.

Twilight and all the sequels... OK = can't speak for the sequels because I never made it through the first one and never even attempted the others
