Uhmm.. I know a lot of movies but I don't know what movie is this one

The movie is "Intacto" a Spanish film. The premise of the movie is that that there are people naturally gifted with luck (just in life some people are just luckier than others). But you can steal someone's luck by taking a photo of them (or something like that) and you carry it around with you all of the time. For example, if you decide to steal luck from an naturally unlucky person who has a common cold, that person is good as dead becuase now he has no luck whatsoever. The showdown of the movie is in Vegas against the biggest luck stealer of them all. The game is russian roulette and he never loses, but Ill stop here just in case people want to see it.

Of course people who win the lottery are big targets, for obvious reasons.

i do think that luck comes in cycles tho at casino one time i could not loose for 1/2 hour no matter what machine i went to but you must know when the cycle ends

This is the LIST of all the movies made in Vegas and im sad to say. but is none of them.... The movie is old and im not. I saw it on cable Tv when I was a kid and now i have faint memories of the movie.
If is not in Vegas might be in New York. The main actor is not a hollywood star. The movie is action not comedy or drama. And he was cursed to win. The mafia was looking for him to take his lottery winnings and kill him. He just wanted to live becasuse he didnd wanted the money in the first place. I eaven remember a scene... when he was on his knees asking God to let him lose once before he dies.

i have no idea what the movie is... i also thought leaving las vegas... but its clearly the opposite of what you described.. let us know if you figure it out...
