Poker is a brutal game. Not only do you have to be tough mentally but also physically. I think it is probably a lot harder than it looks to sit at a poker table for 16hrs/day over several days which is the case with many major tournaments. I think it's thrill of the win and for people that are good at poker the knowing they can beat a game by figuring out the people in it.

i agree with capnjim, its all a mental game!! makes u use your brain! and yes it can be very brutal, especially when other players are not using their brains LOL

Yea its brutal but the feeling of winning a tournament is completely worth it.

it is brutal but I play because I love the competition and everyhand is different and it always changes
