I got them both. I have had netflix forever and the original shows that you can watch the whole season are great. since I have a kindle fire, and buy a LOT of things from amazon(prime gets you free shipping, and free apps and books) prime is a great value IF you use it! ONE year of BOTH costs me less than 2 MONTHS of CABLE!(I cancelled cable 3 years ago!)

Netflix doesn't have as many new releases, but is cheap and is great for binge watching TV shows.

You can often get more recent TV shows on Prime - on Netflix you have to wait a season or two for many shows. But I have both.
I'm not slurring my words. I'm talking in cursive. I believe the ladies find it to be quite elegant.

I am a Netflix junkie. House of Cards has to be one of the finest original series out there right now other than HBO's GoT! Nothing compares to GoT right now....

I feel like neither really have THAT great of a selection, but Netflix is more convenient, cheap, and it's nice because it just automatically plays the next episode lol
