    yes when the movies came out they were great, the books are some of the best reads off all time, if you have an imagination they blow the movies out of the water

    That being said, they have their place in history but they cant be best of all time. In my opinion the best movies are ones that can acutally happen, or snippits of True Life , Like the movies, American Beauty, Crash, etc.......
