It is/was a mini-series put out by the History channel about the Hatfields & McCoys. Two American families famous for their war with each other, dating to just at the end of the Civil War and the years that followed. It's a classic piece of Americana.

Can't wait to see the cast go from 25 to 10 in 5 episodes. How long can they kill people off and keep it interesting. "A man should never die in fear." or loathing, or happy, or fully dressed, or unshaven, or... run away now.

It lookslike crap to me. Costner signed on to make it a watched show. We've seen enough tough westernes to know when we're being duped.
