I hope he was reading an outsourced pre-written acceptance speech from a monitor,
because it was horrible. Disappointing and so unlike Deniro. Still one of the best actors alive.

yes i think he was reading a pre written speech too, casue he even said somethin bout the t elepromptor no working right. i saw that!!!! eeeeekkkk, yea hes still a great actor,,,,,but u think he could memmmorized a short s peech of his own too, i was wonderin bout that also!!!

I didn't think it was too bad, but I've heard better from De Niro. Definitely seemed like he was reading it, but it might not be their choice if they can even write their own speeches

well i would thinkk they would let de niro write his own speech, hehe,, w ho knows?? maybe he did,, and they didnt approve,,, but he did a bad reading of that speech, for sure LOL< BUT i still love him!!!! lol
