Difficult to quickly summarize, but basically these terrorists in the year 2077 are sentenced to die, but before the sentence is carried out they manage to "escape" back to the year 2012. A woman police officer from that time gets caught in the time-travel thing as well and is searching for them in present day Vancouver so they don't change the course of "history". Lots of interesting twists.
