The best poker movie imo for PO members who like to run it up with nothing is LUCKY YOU with Robert Duvall

Basically the kid is an awesome player and routinely runs couple hundred into 10-30k and then loses it all. But has no problem acquiring between 10k and 30k almost at will. His father is like the Doyle Brunson of the poker world and has won numerous world championships. So the kids goal is to run up enough for a buyin to the big event and have some for cash games on side. Its pretty good film. Originally Posted by JohnnyDeepStacks

Well, I can tell you what is NOT the best one - a movie called "Lucky You". Terrible dialog - it was like they tried to cram every poker jargon term into the movie, and not always appropriately. had a lot of the known names at the time tho
