Regarding Tom Hanks, I agree.He is a very high performer.Still, it seems to me that at the moment is the best actor Leonardo DiCaprio.He can play absolutely any role.And it has long been tested and proven.And that's about the best actress,maybe I'll pick Scarlett Johansson.It is also very good at playing any role.

I don't know if there is something like a best actor or actress. At least I don't have one in particular. But I do like Dustin Hofmann and my favourite role was the one he played in Rain man. But also Tom Hanks is has played very nice roles like the one where he was stranded or saving private Ryan. As actress I do like Helen Mirren playing a perfect Queen Elisabeth for example . But also Merrill Streep I love to see acting.
