I know it's not like the LOTR; but some of the previews, they have some lame attempts at comedy. Just hope they didn't make it more "people friendly". I like the darkness of the LOTR.

Yeah, even though it's a prequel, Jackson is going to be able to do visual special effects he couldn't achieve when making the trilology. What I understand is this is going to be a two part movie. Anyone who has read the books knows there is another book before this one. Yup going to wait til Sunday just to thin out the Imax herd.
