I love when a donkey in disguise says "you just see more hands online, that's why it seems different". Anyone who says this obviously has never spent more than 2 minutes on a live casino poker table. A 40 man MTT with the same structure is going to see a similar amount of hands if it is online or live, but for some reason you can sit in any Carbon PO freeroll and see bad beat after bad beat after bad beat, that you don't see in live tournaments. I have spent considerable time on live poker tables after living in Atlantic City for close to ten years, and now playing in Pittsburgh's casinos and I can count on my fingers how many times I've had full houses beaten in a live game, but you can see it happen multiple times in most PO free rolls. It's just another weak explanation for BINGO play that doesn't hold water.

i feel the EXACT same way! especially on merge network! maaan! i see more dominated hands draw out w their, at most 3 outs, id say atleast 6 outta 10 times... then dont een get me started on how many times ppl win w the damn river! SMH and dont u LOVE when say u flop a straight and know ur good obv. stat bettin nice, get cals or atleast 1, then id say 70% of the time 1 of ur cards comes for a 1 card straight, or a better staright for ur oppenent! its bs! cant wait till pokerhost LEAVES merge network totally! they r already in the midst of it. they said a wk to 2, and hey should b under new management.

They used to have a No Limit Omaha tourney* at our local card room and the donks there were still sucking out with gut shot draws and winning. One girl in particular was playing garbage hands and ended up hitting a gut shot straight flush against my boat... so I was out. So yes, more donks play online, but they are all over in live poker, too. Just have to be patient so you can take their whole stack.
*Previously it was a PLO tourney but players thought that was too boring so they switched it to No Limit. It was also unlimited rebuys til the first break and one add on allowed so the winners got decent money. Too bad they cancelled it!Last edited by turkeyfive; 04-01-2014 at 03:22 PM. Yet again, a hand I go into dominating, I end up losing, not just losing but being 3rd best. I can tell you one thing I will never spend another dime to buy points to play a Carbon freeroll. And I can understand that this shit happens in poker but it's , to put it mildly, way to commonplace on Carbon. If you were that good you wouldn't have to tell me, everyone else would tell me.

No matter how much you cry about it, it's going to happen. Might as well shove early before they can river some BS.

donks are everywhere in internet poker and you probbably have to adapt to being a donkey yourself to adjust to the table.
