Read some where that God will never give you more than you can handle and adversity in theroy in ones life should bring you closer to him, it's by design, or his plan. Playing this game has only made me realize some of my best performances on the felts gave me zero results and times I have played OK there has been money made. When you play your best and you know that the hand that did you in, where you were ahead and there just was no way of letting it go, then you made the right call, just the results doesn't show that.
I went through couple really bad stretches, (just coming out of one with three Merge sites) that tested my patience and desire to compete in this game. Sunday that all came full circle. Every move I made backfired. The best hand I got pre-flop failed. Was on the rail the earliest in two years. Walked away and regrouped, analized and came back stronger. You can only do your best at that time and try to improve. In the long run that is still a recipe of success through perseverance. Lot Biblical characters have seen the hand of perservance and it is how you accept and deal with it for a favorable outcome.
