Was involved (on the bad end) in a hand after the flop I was a 99% favorite. The other player needed two inside cards to make a straight, he did.

Bad beats happen, that's part of the poker. But often you could've prevented big loss by re-evaluating the situation. It's us who refuse to let go of set even though it's clear villain might have straight/flush. Some losses might be prevented by diff preflop play. Whatever.... Just accept bad beats and move on.
