With blinds and antes so big, you aren't really trying to see boards out like that. If you were deeper, this hand may have gone better, but just betting into the guy the called you preflop already put a pot out there worth over half his remaining stack. There aren't even 2 streets of betting left at that point. If he is the just calling type (he should never be seeing a flop there with that stack size with what he has. If he misses he is one hell of a mess.), I'd have just folded pre or shove to steal the blinds if you have tightish players behind you.
Random thing to keep in mind, A6o isn't even in the top 30% of hands. A5o and A4o are actually better hands even because of straight potential. So unless you're willing to open raise like 1/3 off all hands there (J9s, Q10o, 22, etc.), you should not be raising A6o as far as playing it as a POST FLOP hand.
Think about what you're trying to accomplish and what worse he'd be playing with his short stack as well.
