LOL I fail

So, I won a free ticket to do the big little tournament today... my laptops clock is set to +2 hours from where I am at right now because I live in Illinois and came to visit my parents for the holidays. I looked at what time the tournament started and then checked to see what time it started where I lived so I could set an alarm on my phone to wake me up. Of course my phone automatically updates the timezone so I wake up 2 hours late for the tournament... GG lol, moral of the story, do not be an idiot.

Has something similar ever happened to any of you?

That sucks, I'm really sorry to hear that.

I had been looking forward to the BLT for awhile, so last night before I went to bed, I checked, double checked and triple checked what time it was starting and the alarm I had set on my phone.

But yeah, I've missed tournaments before and it's a really horrible feeling, I never want to feel that again.

There were a lot of sit outs in the BLT today, you weren't the only one.
