Now i have 8's or 10's or j's and i call the big pot before the flop and he was a-k or two other high cards, my question is it just my luck i lose these these hands 90% of the time.
I find myself in these same situations ALOT I call with big non pair like AK and it loses to small pairs yet when i get the small pairs it loses to AK(hell even big pairs like 10 10 thru KK). I think some are just plain lucky while some of us arent. Ive watched many players with GOOD stats get lucky ALOT while others have bad stats just cause they cant seem to win big pots in key moments in a game when ahead..
