i mean, its hand specific. if you raise and get called pre, and flop comes 8h9hTh and you miss, you shouldnt cbet

That is how the majority of poker players think ... if I have only high-card tend to always fold (no matter how big the bet comes). Simply check the check/fold button

I guess it's checking the turn huh. But anyway, buying pots like that won't always work, the boards have to play along as well.
